Judith Light and Lily Rabe will star in the MCC production of Laura Wade's Colder Than Here. The show, directed by Abigail Morris, is scheduled to run at the Lucille Lortel Theatre from September 7 through October 15, according to a production spokesperson.
Light, who is probably best known for her work on the sitcom Who's The Boss?, appeared on Broadway in A Doll's House and Herzl. Her off-Broadway credits include Measure for Measure, Wit and Sorrows & Rejoicings. She also starred in a national tour of Wit. Her role in the drama earned the actress the Helen Hayes and Elliot Norton Awards for Best Actress.
Rabe is currently making her Broadway debut as Annelle in Steel Magnolias, which closes July 31. She earned a Drama Desk nomination for her performance in the play. A graduate of Northwestern University, Rabe's regional stage credits include Speaking Well of The Dead and The Crazy Girl, both alongside her mother, Jill Clayburgh. She has appeared on the big screen in Never Again and Mona Lisa Smile.
